Design Highlights

A closer look at the choices that shape this Miami bathroom remodel.

What Changed in This Miami Bathroom

A bathroom that feels calm the second you walk in. Warm taupe stone tones replace anything harsh or dated, the bright herringbone floor keeps the room light, and every piece was picked to make daily routines smoother: more ways to shower, more storage, more light and more counter space for two.

Three ways to shower

Why choose one shower head when you can have three? A polished chrome rain head drops straight down from the ceiling for that standing-in-warm-rain feeling. A second head on the wall handles quick morning rinses, and a handheld on a slide bar slides up or down for anyone in the family, or for cleaning the shower itself. All three run from a clean chrome valve set right where you can reach it.

Herringbone that walks right into the shower

The floor is the detail people notice first. White plank tile laid in a herringbone pattern runs across the bathroom and carries straight into the shower, where it meets a slim linear drain. Instead of a small square drain in the middle of a sloped floor, the water runs to one clean line, so the floor pattern stays unbroken and the space reads as one open room.

Frameless glass that stays out of the way

A single fixed frameless glass panel keeps water where it belongs without boxing the shower in. No door to swing, no heavy frame, just clear glass that lets you see all that stone from the moment you walk in.

A long niche and a place to sit

A long, recessed niche is built right into the shower wall, with plenty of room for shampoo, conditioner and body wash lined up side by side, and nothing cluttering the floor. A wood shower bench adds a spot to sit, shave or just slow down.

Warm marble-look stone, floor to ceiling

Floor to ceiling, the walls wear large taupe porcelain slabs with soft veining that reads like natural marble. Taking the tile all the way up gives the room a seamless, wrapped-in-stone look, and the warm color keeps it cozy instead of cold. Porcelain shrugs off steam, so it looks just as good after the hundredth shower as it did after the first.

FAQs

Miami Bathroom Remodel FAQs

Is a herringbone floor harder to install than a regular tile layout?

A bit, yes. Herringbone takes more cuts and more careful layout, especially where it meets a linear drain and shower glass, so it usually adds some labor time. We'll show you the pattern in your 3D design so you can decide if it's right for your space.

Most remodels that touch plumbing, electrical or walls need one. We pull the permits and schedule the inspections for you, whether your home falls under the City of Miami or Miami-Dade County.

A linear drain is a long, narrow drain that runs along one edge of the shower instead of a small round drain in the center. It lets the floor slope in one direction, so you can use larger tiles or patterns like herringbone all the way into the shower. It isn't required, but it gives a cleaner, more modern look.

Yes. This project has a ceiling rain head, a wall head and a handheld on a slide bar, all controlled from one valve. We plan the plumbing so each one works the way you want.

It comes down to the room's size, any layout changes and the finishes you pick. Extra shower heads, moving drains or a statement vanity all affect the number. After the consultation you get a written, itemized estimate, so you can see exactly where the money goes.
